Barry is passionate about working with leaders and leadership teams that are committed to engaging in meaningful dialogue, openly exploring their current situation and its consequences, challenging assumptions, and discovering new options for sustainable success. He believes that pride is the ultimate motivator, and that true, sustainable business success integrates financial performance and the needs of your shareholders with the needs of your customers, employees, suppliers, the communities in which you operate, and your environmental impact. Clients look to him for strategy facilitation, leadership and team development and alignment, conflict resolution and executive coaching. His comfort with conflict allows him to listen deeply, ask probing and provocative questions, and reframe perspectives. Clients have described his style as calm, but provocative; reflective, but forthright; serious, but with a wicked sense of humor. Barry’s background includes 10 years of increasing responsibility in high tech companies, 7 years as Executive Director of a youth development non-profit, and more than 20 years of consulting across a wide range of private sector businesses. Barry also served on the faculty of York University’s Division of Executive Development (Toronto, Ontario) and the Banff Centre for Management (Banff, Alberta).
